"The US government has provided Ukraine with medical and humanitarian assistance to limit the spread of COVID-19", the representative said. "USAID is coordinating its actions with the Ukrainian government, other international partners in the field of humanitarian assistance and other interested parties to identify priority areas for using these resources", the report says.

The day before, the European Union announced its decision to support Ukraine and allocated € 80 million to Kiev to counter the coronavirus pandemic. In Ukraine, as of Tuesday morning, 549 cases of coronavirus infection were registered, 13 people died, nine - recovered. The country has quarantined from March 17 to April 24, and an emergency regime has been introduced throughout March 26 throughout the territory.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal said that the country will create a stabilization fund to combat coronavirus infection and its consequences in the country in the amount of 200 billion hryvnia (about $ 7.2 billion).
