OREANDA-NEWS. A new wave of anti-Russian sentiments is being observed in the United States. There was another suitable reason for this. Russia was again condemned in the US for the "poisoning" of Alexei Navalny. The US House of Representatives has called for new sanctions against Russia. Resolution 1145 was submitted for consideration on September 23rd. It is advisory, not mandatory.

As reminds the RIA Novosti news agency, Alexey Navalny was hospitalized in the Omsk ambulance hospital from the Tomsk-Moscow flight. During the flight, Navalny became ill, after using the toilet on the plane, he felt even worse, and as a result he lost consciousness.

The doctors of the Omsk hospital, where Navalny was taken, called the main diagnosis a metabolic disorder caused by a sharp change in blood sugar. After that, two days later, Navalny was transported on a special medical flight to Germany. In this country, a ward was prepared for him at the Berlin clinic Charite. Later, representatives of the German side said that Navalny had been poisoned with a combat poison from the Novichok group. This was allegedly confirmed by analyzes in the laboratories of the Bundeswehr, as well as in the military laboratories of France and Sweden.

Moscow, wishing to conduct its own investigation of the incident, requested additional data on the poisoning from Berlin. Russia is determined to cooperate and work fruitfully together with its European colleagues, but Germany either did not respond to all Russian requests, or limited itself to formal replies, without providing the Russian Prosecutor General's Office with any specific information that could help in the investigation of the incident with Navalny.
