OREANDA-NEWS  Residents of Germany who have been vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and who have already developed immunity will be allowed to go shopping without taking a coronavirus test and travel without quarantine. This information was reported by the head of the Ministry of Health of the Federal Republic of Germany Jens Spahn during an interview with the newspaper Bild am Sonntag.

Spahn says vaccinated citizens will be able to enjoy travel and shopping privileges after the third wave of coronavirus ends in Germany.

Discussing a possible relaxation of the regime, the head of the Ministry of Health referred to a study by the Robert Koch Institute. According to experts, on the 15th day after vaccination, people become less infectious than citizens without symptoms of the disease and with a negative test for COVID-19.

At the moment, quarantine has been introduced on the territory of Germany. At the same time, schools, kindergartens, hairdressers, beauty salons, flower and book stores have been opened, which can only be visited with a negative test for coronavirus.

In March, German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the extension of quarantine in the country until April 18. The self-isolation regime was planned to be further strengthened during the Easter period - from April 1 to April 5. Religious meetings for Easter will be held online.
