“I think that this is generally our big story and we will have to get out of this criminal situation for a long time. Here, perhaps, information war will help us. I very much hope that the information will return these people to the state that Ukraine needs them as much as they need Ukraine, and that they are the same Ukrainians, ”he said. Zelensky announced the creation of a Russian-language media portal for “truthful coverage of events in Ukraine”. According to him, Donbass can be returned to the country only with the help of the “information war”.

In addition, the politician said that he would definitely not enter into a coalition with former members of the Party of Regions, which in Ukraine are considered pro-Russian politicians. Among them, Yuriy Boyko and Viktor Medvedchuk.

The set of measures to implement the Minsk agreements was approved at the summit in Minsk on February 11-12, 2015 by the presidents of Russia, Ukraine, France and the German chancellor. The document was signed by representatives of Russia, Ukraine, the OSCE and the unrecognized DNR and LC. According to the agreements, the warring parties in the Donbass are obliged to cease hostilities, Kiev has committed itself to political reforms. The armed conflict in the Donbass began in the spring of 2014 after the coup in Ukraine.
