OREANDA-NEWS The trade turnover between Russia and Armenia has exceeded seven billion dollars. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, TASS reports.

The Russian head stressed that this is a record.

Putin held talks with Pashinyan on May 8 after a meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This is the first meeting of politicians since December 2023. The Kremlin stressed that the leaders had practically no contact after that, so today's conversation is especially important.

Earlier, Pashinyan said that many problems have accumulated between Russia and Armenia.
