OREANDA-NEWS  A resident of the Novosibirsk region gave her mother a winning lottery ticket worth one million rubles, which she received from her as a gift. This is reported by the NHS.

Oksana Kurilkina, a 25-year-old teacher from the Kochkovsky district, received a ticket from her mother, Galina Vladimirovna, for the New Year. As the girl notes, her relative often takes part in raffles on holidays and believes in a miracle. Oksana calls her mother kind, sincere and a little naive.

According to the girl, she did not have time to pick up the donated lottery ticket from her mother's house until 2024. Oksana came to visit her on the second of January to check the ticket, and found that she had won one million rubles. Despite the fact that the lottery ticket belonged to the girl, she decided to give it to her mother. "I decided that since I didn't pick up the gift on time, it means it will be my mother's," she explained.

Galina admitted that she had an "awesome" impression of winning. So far, she does not believe that she has become a millionaire, since she has not yet collected her winnings. The winner does not yet know how she will spend it.

Earlier in the United States, a woman turned to the seller for help while choosing a lottery ticket and won a large sum. She was advised of a new instant lottery, the main prize in which is two million dollars.
