On the eve of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif said that the first batch of oil from Russia arrived in the Pakistani port of Karachi. On Monday, June 12, its unloading will begin.

In May, the Minister of Maritime Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Syed Faisal Sabzwari, said that Pakistan had gained direct access to the Russian market for the sale of its own goods and various types of products thanks to the opening of maritime trade links with the Russian Federation.
