OREANDA-NEWS  This season, the average purchase receipt for children's New Year's gifts in Russia has halved and dropped to 750-1500 rubles. Previously, the figure was 1.5-3 thousand rubles, said Antonina Tsitsulina, president of the Association of Enterprises of the Children's Goods Industry (AIDT). Her words are quoted by TASS.

Tsitsulina clarified that the average purchase receipt for New Year's gifts for children varies depending on family income. At the same time, it is difficult for Russian manufacturers to compete with foreign companies in the mass segment of the children's goods market. Without additional government support, it will be extremely difficult to increase the share of domestic producers.

"Material support measures, the investments that the state invests in the family, are very, very important," Tsitsulina concluded during a speech at the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry.

In the second half of October, the publication of RBC with reference to the results of a survey conducted by analysts of the job search service hh.ru , reported that almost half (45 percent) of Russians no longer have enough salaries to meet basic needs. For another 36 percent of respondents, the salary hardly covers key needs. Only 20 percent of citizens have enough salary to buy everything they need.
