OREANDA-NEWS LDPR deputies, led by party chairman Leonid Slutsky, have developed a bill proposing to cancel the payment of income tax for Russians whose salary does not exceed 30 thousand rubles per month. It will be submitted to the State Duma on Thursday, February 15. This is reported by TASS with reference to the document.

According to Slutsky, by exempting that part of Russians who receive salaries below 30,000 rubles per month, and the amount of all income for the year is no more than 360 thousand rubles, from paying tax, the authorities "will really ease their situation."

The authors of the bill believe that this measure will reduce the tax burden of economically unprotected segments of the population to improve living standards, and will also contribute to increasing the level of economic activity in countries, as the family budget will increase, and the level of demand and market competition will increase.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Nikolay Zhuravlev called for the abolition of income tax on deposits valid for three years or more, pointing out the correctness of such a step, including against the background of the lack of a decision on the introduction of irrevocable deposits.
