OREANDA-NEWS  As of May 1, 1.124 trillion rubles were spent on the implementation of national projects in Russia. The expenses of the federal budget were estimated by the Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance), the press service of the department reports.

Spending on national projects accounted for 37 percent of planned budget allocations. The national project "Culture" has become the leader in spending funds — budget execution for it is 55 percent. The top five also included the national projects "Science and Universities" — 48.4 percent, "Demography" — 47.7 percent, "Healthcare" — 44.6 percent and "Labor Productivity" — 42.2 percent.

Among the national projects with minimal budget execution are "International Cooperation and Export" — 19.6 percent, "Comprehensive Plan for modernization and expansion of the main infrastructure" (transport part) — 17.1 percent, as well as "Unmanned aircraft systems" — 15.6 percent.

In February 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in a message to the Federal Assembly that another national project called "Cadres" would be launched in Russia. According to him, the country needs to strengthen the link of all levels of education, they must work for a common result. To do this, a career guidance system has been deployed in all schools. In addition, earlier the head of state instructed to launch a national project on the development of modern health saving technologies. The Cabinet of Ministers should carry out this work by the end of the year.
