OREANDA-NEWS  To buy a studio apartment in Russia, you will need to work for more than five years and receive at least 70 salaries. Such calculations are given by analysts of Tinkoff Magazine in their research.

Experts have studied the prices of apartments with an area of 30 to 40 square meters on one popular site with ads in major Russian cities. In some localities, there were more primary housing, and in others — secondary housing. Therefore, analysts separately calculated the median cost of each type of apartment and took the average value between them.

Average salaries were calculated based on data from a popular job site. At the same time, it was taken into account that in a family where two people work, one partner's salary is postponed for the purchase of a future apartment, and the income of the second one goes for living, housing and communal services and other expenses.

Thus, the median salary in large Russian cities turned out to be 50 thousand rubles, and the median price of a one—room apartment was 4.3 million rubles. It turns out that the average Russian will need to work for a little more than seven years and receive 86 salaries.

The most inaccessible "odnushki" turned out to be in Moscow — they will need to receive 164 salaries or work continuously for almost 14 years. The median salary in the capital is 70 thousand rubles, and the median price of a one—room apartment is 11.8 million rubles (almost twice as much as the national average).

Kazan took the second place in terms of housing inaccessibility. There, 126 salaries, or 10.5 years of work, are needed to buy a one-bedroom apartment. The salary in the city is equal to the national median of 50 thousand rubles, and the median price of a one—bedroom apartment is slightly inferior to St. Petersburg — about 6.3 million rubles.

Chelyabinsk turned out to be the leader in housing affordability — there you need to get 73 salaries to save for a "one-bedroom apartment" worth 3.6 million rubles. At the same time, incomes there are about the same level as in Kazan — the median figure is 50 thousand rubles.

Earlier, Russians were given the minimum wage for buying a one-room apartment with a mortgage. So, on average in the country, a borrower with housing in a new building should earn about 35 thousand rubles per month.
