OREANDA-NEWS Several Russian companies and banks have fallen under the new US sanctions. Restrictions, in particular, have been imposed on the Post Bank, Russian Standard, Home Credit Bank, AFK Sistema, the EBRD, HCF Bank and Arctic LNG 2, follows from a message posted on the website of the US Ministry of Finance.

The St. Petersburg Stock Exchange was also included in the sanctions list. Its shares at the time of writing the material decreased by 11 percent, the securities of AFK Sistema lost a little more than three percent against the background of falling under American restrictions.

In addition to the "System" itself, Luxembourg's East West United Bank, Singapore's Sistema Asia Pte, as well as the Sistema Smarttech fund, which the Americans considered to be related to AFK structures, were under sanctions. In total, more than 190 companies from the UAE, China, Mongolia, Switzerland, Turkey, Luxembourg and other countries fell under the new restrictions, RIA Novosti writes. The sanctions also affected 37 individuals, including deputy heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Alexey Besprozvannykh and Viktor Yevtukhov.

Today, the US Department of Commerce imposed export restrictions on 13 companies from Russia and one company from Uzbekistan. They also touched upon the Russian company Aeroscan, the parent organization of which ZALA Aero produces barrage ammunition and Lancet drones.
