OREANDA-NEWS. On May 4, Abkhazian air defense forces liquidated another two Georgian unmanned spy planes performing unauthorized flights over the security zone, according to information received from Sukhumi.

The new appearance of Georgian reconnaissance aerial vehicles in the prohibited area over Abkhazia and their lawful destruction demonstrate with utmost clarity that Tbilisi has ignored our repeated warnings on dangers inherent in the violations by the Georgian side of the Moscow agreement on the ceasefire and separation of forces of 14 May 1994 and of the relevant decisions of the UN Security Council, in particular, resolution 1808 adopted on April 15 this year.

By resorting to adventures with unmanned spy planes and speeding military preparations near the conflict zones, the Tbilisi authorities have taken the path of deliberately whipping up tension in the region. The entire responsibility for the consequences of such a policy will fall on the Georgian side.
