OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov on September 17 held political consultations in Moscow with Johannes Kyrle, Austrian MFA Secretary General.

An intense long-term schedule of Russian-Austrian political contacts was discussed, along with reviewing progress on drafting a number of bilateral agreements and the state of affairs in practical areas of cooperation, including economic, commercial, cultural and humanitarian.

An exchange of views took place on key issues in world politics, focusing on interaction possibilities during Austria’s UN Security Council presidency (November 2009) and the situation regarding European security and the settlement of regional problems.
