OREANDA-NEWS. In October 2006, Vyksa Metal Works, being a part of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 101 thousand 536 tons of pipes, or 15% more than parameters for the same period of 2005.

According to the press service of OMK, for ten months the enterprise produced 1 million 220 thousand 572 tons of pipes of various assortment. As compared with the analogous period of 2005 the production volume increased by 53% from 793 thousand 261 tons.

The enterprise produced 50 thousand 530 tons of the large-diameter pipes in October 2006. The growth of large-diameter pipes production made 23% as compared with October 2005, when production totalled 40 thousand 800 tons.

For ten months of 2006, the production of the large-diameter pipes made 652 thousand 860 tons, or 1,87 times more than production in January-October 2006, which had totalled 348 thousand 200 tons.
