OREANDA-NEWS. On March 28, 2007 the Gazprom Board of Directors has reviewed the information on the Gazprom bylaws as regards the provision of independent companies with non-discriminatory access to the Gazprom owned gas transmission system, reported the press-centre of  Gazprom.

Access of independent companies to the Gazprom owned gas transmission system (GTS) in the Russian Federation for supplying gas to Russian Federation consumers is governed by the Regulation on the Provision of Independent Companies with Access to the Gazprom GTS, developed pursuant to the April 28, 1997 Decree of the Russian Federation President № 426 “On the Main Provisions of the Structural Reform in the Area of Natural Monopolies”, approved by the July 14, 1997 Directive of the Russian Federation Government and applicable in the May 3, 2001 draft Directive of the Russian Federation Government № 334 “On the Provision of Non-Discriminatory Access to Gas Transmission Networks”.

Gazprom’s activities embracing the provision of non-discriminatory access to the Company’s GTS are governed by the Permitting Regulations for Access of Independent Companies to the Gazprom GTS, approved by the June 30, 2005 Order of Gazprom.
