Profit of EBC Reached 1,34 bln Rubles in 2006
OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2007. The 2006 preliminary results of the European Bearing Corporation have been prepared, reported the press-centre of EBC.
According to the management accounting data, the corporation core sales reached 7,87 bln rubles (excluding VAT), operating profit before tax – 1,34 bln rubles and cost-efficiency - 17%. More than 26.5 mln bearings were sold. In 2006 EBC invested over 435 mln rubles in its enterprises. The cost reduction program helped to save 242 mln rubles.
The European Bearing Corporation was founded in 2000. It includes: Moscow Bearing JSC, Moscow Aviation Bearings Plant JSC, Stepnogorsk Bearing Plant JSC (Stepnogorsk, Kazakhstan), Volzhsky Bearing Plant (Volgograd Region), Aviation Bearings Plant JSC (Samara); EBC Research Center; EBC Trading House LLC (service & sales division); and EBC JSC (holding company).
