OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2007. The oil and gas condensate output by the group of the companies for January-June 2007 made up 8 158 thousand tons, which is 1,5% higher than the coresponding value for the respective period of 2006. In 2007, it is expected to produce 17 162 thousand tons of oil and gas condensate . 

The refining output for January-June 2007 made up 2 798 thousand tons, which is 1,3% lower than the coresponding value for the respective period of 2006. The decrease in the refining output in January-June in comparison with the respective period of 2006 is related to short supply of oil by oil producing companies. In 2007, it is expected to refine 5 750 thousand tons of oil.

The volume of oil transportation by the system of long-distance pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” for January-June 2007 made up 22 503 thousand tons, which is 8,6% higher than the coresponding value for the respective period of 2006. In 2007, it is expected to transport 43 325 thousand tons.

The volume of gas transportation by the long-distance pipelines of JSC “Intergas Central Asia” for January-June 2007 made up 58.5 billion m3, which is 4.9% lower than the coresponding value for the respective period of the previous year. The decrease in the volume of gas transportation is caused by the reduction on the part of Russian customers of the supply of Russian gas for transit through Kazakhstan. At the same time, the volumes of international transit of Turkmenian and Uzbek gas, as well as export and domestic gas transportation, are much higher than the 2006 level. Due to this the volume of turnover of natural gas transportation exceeds the last year’s value by 1,4 %, and the revenues from the the Company’s primary activity exceed the last year’s value by 5,0% . In 2007, it is planned to transport 124,8 bln. m3 of gas.

The Company,s consolidated revenues for January-June 2007 made up KZT 507,3 bln., which is 4,8% higher than the coresponding value for the respective period of 2006.

From January till June 2007, capital investments due to own means made up KZT 73,7 bln. inclusive of KZT 72,1bln. for production, which is 19,3% higher than the coresponding value for the respective period of the previous year.

According to the summary data with regard to subsidiaries and dependent organizations of JSC NC “KazMunayGas” for January-June 2007, KZT 92,5 bln. were paid to the budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan as taxes and charges,which is 22,9% lower than the amount for the respective period of 2006. The decrease is caused by changes in the tax legislation of January 1 of the current year.
