OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2007. Gazprom neft JSC and SIBUR Holding JSC have launched the joint venture Yuzhno-Priobsky GPP LLC for the processing of associated petroleum gas (APG) incoming from Yuzhno-Priobskoye field under development by the petroleum company. 
Subsidiaries of the partners - Gazprom-Khantos LLC and SiburTyumenGas JSC - acted as JV founders. Each party will hold 50 per cent of the joint venture authorized capital. Denis Solomatin, Deputy CEO of SiburTyumenGas JSC was appointed CEO of the joint venture.

At the first stage the JV will act as the Owner of the Project for the construction of new facilities that will process about 1 bcm of APG per annum.

Additionally, Gazprom neft JSC and SIBUR Holding JSC are considering a large-scale investment project for the construction of a new processing plant with annual capacity of 3 bcm of APG at SIBUR-owned Vyngapurovsky compressor plant.

Partners’ efforts on APG utilization comply with the national strategy aimed at the increase of processing industry rate in overall production as well as reduction of environmental impact.
