OREANDA-NEWS. North West Telecom will be offering new bundled telecom solutions, including intrazonal telephone service (calls within single region) and dial-up Internet access, to households in four of its coverage areas – the Vologda, Novgorod, Pskov and Leningrad regional branches.

Tariffs for these bundled services are 10-20% lower than the current rates.  The lowers tariffs are applicable to the entire range of telecom solutions (both intrazonal telephone and Internet connections), including use beyond the established limit at certain times of the day. Thus, if bundled services are chosen, the subscriber pays a fixed amount for services provided during a month, and also pays at discount rates if the maximum amount of services is exceeded.

In order to take into account the interests of a large number of telecom users, NWT has worked out and is now prepared to offer its subscribers in the Vologda, Novgorod, Pskov and Leningrad regions 4 packages for households and legal entities, two of which (+ packages) in addition to calling options within a region also include dial-up Internet access.

Packaged services for subscribers include a monthly amount of calls (150 or 200 minutes) made within a region during a certain time of the day (on business days from 6 pm to 8 am, and on weekends and on holidays at all hours of the day).  If subscribers choose the + packages, the monthly amount of dial-up Internet connections will be 400 or 500 minutes (at any time of the day).  The flat monthly rate, depending on the service option selected, ranges from Rub 225 to 515 (VAT inclusive).

Bundled services for corporate subscribers include a certain amount of intrazonal telephone calls (350-500 minutes) at a certain time of the day (8 am to 6 pm) and may include 900 or 1,250 minutes of dialup Internet connection per month.  The fixed monthly subscriber fee ranges from Rub 700 to 1,300 (VAT exclusive) depending on the range of service options selected.

When bundled services are chosen, local voice is paid at the effective rates.  DLD and ILD connections, as well as calls made to cellular phones, are paid for separately.

In order to select a bundled service plan, all a subscriber has to do is contact a customer service center of NWT and sign a supplementary agreement to the current agreement on provision of telecom services. The bundled service agreement will take effect on the first day of the month following the month during which the supplementary agreement was signed.

Complete information on bundled service options can be obtained at the Internet regional branches of the Vologda, Novgorod, Pskov and Leningrad regional branches, at information and directory services of branches, and at the customer service centers of NWT.

As noted by the deputy general director and commercial director of NWT O.V. Popov: “Intrazonal communication is one of the three traditional cornerstones of telephone communication which enjoy stable demand and a guaranteed number of users.  In order to provide an incentive to permanent users of this service and make it attractive for a wide range of subscribers, we decided to roll out packaged solutions.  They will allow customers to save on telecom expenses or, without increasing their usual amount of expenses, to raise the number of services used.
