September 21, 2007.  In the first half of 2007, net profit of Sovcomflot OJSC under International Accounting Standards grew by 6.8%, year-on-year, to $103.2 million, the company’s press center reports. In the reported period, operational profit totaled $124.4million (+18.1%, year-on-year). The company’s proceeds amounted to $314.5million (+27.7%). Besides, good financial results the company also demonstrated higher efficiency of the fleet’s operation. The share of Russia’s component in total volume of liquid bulk cargo transported by the company’s fleet within the reported period exceeded 50%. In January-July 2007, Sovcomflot was the largest carrier of crude from the port of Primorsk.
