OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2007. In January-September 2007, container throughput of First Container Terminal (St. Petersburg) grew by 8.4%, year-on-year, to 697,700 TEU. In September, the terminal handled 80,357 TEU, or 46,633 units (+7%, year-on-year). FCT turnover of refrigerated containers totaled 7,640 TEU (-17%, year-on-year). Export amounted to 40,954 TEU, import – 39,403 TEU. In September, the terminal handled 62 vessels, with average turnover of 1,296 TEU per vessel.
