OREANDA-NEWS. On December 18, 2007 the Central Securities Depository of Lithuania, state authority acting as a register of security issues, awarded AB DnB NORD Bankas for active participation in the country’s debt securities market in 2007, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD Bankas.

AB DnB NORD Bankas has been awarded „For the largest amount of note tranches issued and the largest increase in capitalization of outstanding notes in 2007“, the Central Securities Depository of Lithuania said in its award letter dedicated to the Treasury Operations Division of the bank.

AB DnB NORD Bankas, ranked as the Best Bank in Lithuania by the international banking and finance magazine Euromoney this year, has registered 102 note issues with the Central Securities Depository of Lithuania with the total value of more than LTL 1.2 billion at par in 2007. As of December 10 AB DnB NORD Bankas held 46 percent of the local debt securities in terms of outstanding notes at par registered with the depository and 51 percent in terms of the number of issues.
