OREANDA-NEWS. April 4, 2008. Two years have passed since Bank Electronika and the Moscow City Food Resources Department signed an agreement to realize the national priority program Development of the Agro-industrial Complex. The agreement was signed in March 2006.

Positive dynamics in the collaboration between Bank Electronika and the Government of Moscow are obvious: During 2007 the Bank extended guarantees to agro-industrial commercial organizations in the sum of 330 million rubles. This compares favorably with 2006, during which Bank Electronika made banker’s guarantees in support of the Moscow and Moscow Oblast agro-industrial complex of just over 250 million rubles. From January through March 2008, under dedicated budgetary credit from the Government of Moscow, Bank Electronika extended banker’s guarantees to Optifood and Zarogskiy Broiler in the amounts of 86 million and 52 million rubles, respectively.

Successful development in the banker’s credit program and two years of experience in that sphere make it possible for Bank Electronika to cooperate effectively with agro-industrial businesses in Moscow and Moscow Oblast.

Dmitry Naletov, Executive Vice-President of Bank Electronika, noted: “In May 2007 the Government of Moscow extended Bank Electronika’s status as an authorized institution of the city. In addition, the Government of Moscow and Bank Electronika signed an agreement to collaborate during 2007-2008. Under that program, the Bank will extend financial support to businesses and organizations in various sectors of the economy of the capital and take part in philanthropic activities to benefit the city. This not only ensures a constant flow of capital to the Bank but once more confirms the high financial reliability of Bank Electronika and our practical participation in implementing target programs essential to the capital.”
