OREANDA-NEWS  On 15 December was announced, that a group of companies Velyka Kyshenia (Kyiv), one of Ukraine"s biggest eponymous retail trade network, launched sales of its second own trademark Number 1 - Fair Price, reads the company statement.

According to the statement, on condition of volatile economic situation the chain management decided to introduce its second own trademark as one of the bailout measures.

Currently Number 1 - Fair Price TM offers such goods as sugar, cereals, macaroni goods and canned vegetables.

In the short term the chain also has plans to begin selling dairy products, cheeses, juices and beverages under this trademark.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Velyka Kyshenia launched sales of own trademark Hit Product in 2007.

Retail Group, the company that manages the Velyka Kyshenia supermarket chain, plans to raise USD 50-150 million by selling its shares to investors.

Velyka Kyshenia (Kyiv) increased the number of stores from 33 to 41 in 2007.

Velyka Kyshenia"s sales revenues totaled UAH 2.4 billion in 2006.

Retail Group consists of the Kviza open joint-stock company as well as its subsidiary called Kviza Trade, which controls the Velyka Kyshenia supermarket chain and fast-food restaurants.

Hazinart Limited (Cyprus) owns 63% of the shares in Retail Group and Retail Invest (Kyiv) owns 25%.
