OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2009. Stroytransgaz has finalized work to build objects for the second start-up complex at the Kanchurin Musin underground gas storage facility in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Gazprom Transgaz Ufa was customer for the project.

“The Kanchurin Musin underground gas storage facility is one of the largest, technologically demanding projects being realized by our company today,” noted Chairman of the Management Board of Stroytransgaz Vyacheslav Makhonin. “I am confident in the long-term future and mutual benefit of our partnerships with the Republic of Bashkortostan, Gazprom, and its subsidiaries.”

A compressor unit, a gas treatment facility, a heat interchanger area, and intrasite pipelines were among objects constructed for the second start-up complex.

Full reconstruction of the Kanchurin Musin underground gas storage facility is targeted for completion in 2010.
