OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 January 2009 was announced, that reconstruction of a road interchange near Moscow’s Belorussky Train Station is to be completed by 2010, Aleksandr Levchenko, head of Department of Road and Bridge Engineering of Moscow, said.

“We plan to have the engineering services renewed this year, to complete the renewal and to start erecting fencing there. It will enable to complete the junction in 2010 and will allow us to start developing the underground space of this area,” Mr Levchenko told journalists.

The official noted the main goal of the active work was to put up the road interchange with no traffic lights.

According to the head of Department of Road and Bridge Engineering of Moscow, a big problem for the builders is the requirement to renew a great deal of tumbledown engineering service lines.

Mr Levchenko added the builders had being done it for over a year, but the work was coming to a close.
