OREANDA-NEWS. February 6, 2009. Vostokenergo, the energy generating division of DTEK, has completed reconstruction of unit # 5 at Kurakhovskaya TPP. Thus, the first stage of the large-scale modernization of Vostokenergo’s power generating facilities has been completed (on January 12, 2009 unit No. 2 at Kurakhovskaya TPP was connected to the grid after reconstruction).
 
Further information about the unit reconstruction will be released at the press-conference devoted to signing of the Commissioning Act for Kurakhovskaya TPP unit # 5; the date of the press-conference will be announced later.
