OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 March 2009 was announced, that PAVA is modernizing production at one of its structural units. The company made a decision to significantly increase selection of semolina at Mikhailovsky flour mill (the Altay Territory).

A year ago selection of semolina at the mill stood at approximately 3.5%, today it has risen to 4.9%. This was accounted for by its popularity on the market of the Ural region and European part of Russia. Orders for PAVA semolina are collected beforehand – several weeks or even months in advance. After the company saw equally boosting demand for this product from abroad, the decision to increase semolina selection became even more relevant.

Today, the goal is to achieve 10%-level of semolina selection. For production of high-quality cereal which has won customer loyalty PAVA uses solely the grain grown in Altay. The undisputed advantage is up-to-date equipment of high capacity – airy semolina of prime quality can only be manufactured by a large milling complex.

The Altay grain processor produces consumer size semolina of M-grade, under the brands “Altay-Batyushka” and “PAVA”.

Semolina is one of the most important cereals which has multiple applications in dietary products and baby food due to its high nutritional and digestive value.
