In 2009, the consolidated production of oil and gas condensate for KMG is planned at 19062 thousand tons.

In Jan-Mar 2009, KMG processed 2293 thousand tons of oil, which is 5,6 percent lower than that of Jan-Mar 2008. This decrease reflects the declining trend in the demand for refined products in the domestic and foreign markets. In 2009, KMG Group plans to refine 10440 thousand tons of oil.

The oil transportation volume for Jan-Mar 2009, according to the consolidated data, amounted to 14868 thousand tons or 0,8 percent lower than that for Jan-Mar 2008, which is explained by the decreased oil shipments to the republic's refineries. At the same time, the crude freight turnover increased by 0,6 percent due to the increase in oil exports. Total oil transportation for 2009 is planned at 60199 thousand tons.

The gas transportation volume for Jan-Mar 2009 amounted to 26375 mln cu m, which is 0,9 percent lower than that of Jan-Mar 2008 due to the decrease of the Russian transit. At the same time, the cubic meter by kilometer figure rose 6,7 percent due to the increased transit of Central Asian gas. For 2009, total gas transportation, according to the consolidated data, is planned at 112882 mln cu m.

KMG Group’s consolidated income for Jan-Mar 2009 amounted to KZT 653,6 bn (1,9 percent higher than that for Jan-Mar 2008).

KMG continues consistent implementation of its investment policy. During Jan-Mar 2009, the capital expenditures from KMG’s own funds amounted to KZT 52,6 bn, which is 2,5 times higher than the figure for Jan-Mar 2008.

In Jan-Mar 2009, KMG’s taxes and payments to the budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan totaled KZT 76,1 bn (1,5 percent higher than the figure for Jan-Mar 2008). The increase is mainly attributed to the payments of newly imposed taxes, including mineral extraction tax and rent tax on the exported crude and gas condensate, as well as to the increase in the rates for environmental pollution payments and increase in the property tax rate.
