OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 June 2009 was announced, that within the limits of the international route network expansion UTair Aviation, JSC (UTair Aviation) announces the launch of two regular flights into two of the CIS countries, namely Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

The Company performed its first flight to the city of Gyandzha, Azerbaijan. Flights along the route Moscow (Vnukovo) – Gyandzha – Moscow (Vnukovo) are performed every week on Fridays. The flight departs from Moscow at 10.30 a.m., from Gyandzha – at 04.10 p.m. (local time for each airport). This new route enables citizens and guests of Azerbaijan to use Vnukovo airport which is the major UTair hub in Moscow. A carefully planned flight schedule and convenient connections in this Moscow airport allow the Company passengers not only to save their money but also get into 50 cities in Russia and abroad comfortably and quickly.

As part of its spring-summer flight schedule, UTair also launches a regular flight to one of the oldest cities of Tajikistan – Khojend, on 01 June 2009. Flights along the route Khojend – Nizhnevartovsk – Khojend are scheduled twice a month.

In accordance with UTair Business Plan, fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters operated by the Company are going to fly 257,8 thousand hours in 2009. Passenger aircraft are to carry 3,7 million passengers. It is planned to operate more than 100 fixed-wing aircraft and 150 helicopters of different types and classes in order to carry out the operational program.
