OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 July 2009 was announced, that the launch of two new domestic routes from Transaero Airlines. The flights link Moscow (Domodedovo) to Omsk and Krasnodar. These additions to Transaero’s domestic flight network bring the airlines current internal flight network to 20 destinations.

The new route to Omsk, with the flight code UN 125/126, departs from Moscow six times a week excepting Sunday on Boeing 737 aircraft in three class configurations: Tourist, Premium Economy and Business class. The flight schedule is as follows:

UN 125: Departure from Moscow at 12:20 am local time and arrival in Omsk at 06:30 am, local time.

UN 126: Departure from Omsk at 08.00 am, local time and arrival in Moscow at 8.45 am, local time.

Upon arrival from Omsk, passengers can take advantage of Transaero Airlines’ convenient transit facilities in Moscow Domodedovo International Airport, including connecting flights to other Russian cities and a variety of international destinations. Transaero Airlines is offering special connecting flight airfare for passengers flying Transaero from Omsk to such cities as Berlin, Vienna, London, Montreal, Pathos, Tel-Aviv, Toronto, Frankfurt, Alma-Ata, Astana, Minsk, Tashkent and other international and domestic destinations.

The newly launched Moscow - Krasnodar route marks a new chapter in the history of Transaero’s route network. The flight, absolutely new for Transaero, became possible because of the modernization and certification of Krasnodar Airport to operate Boeing 737-500s aircraft. According to Transaero’s tradition, the new flight is being offered with the lowest airfare and most comfortable flights on modern aircraft in three class configurations. The route is initiated with flights operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Additional flights are planned for the near future. The current flight schedule is as follows: Monday:

UN 163: Departure from Moscow at 06:40 am, local time and arrival in Krasnodar at 08:40 am, local time.

UN 164: Departure from Krasnodar at 09:40 am local time and arrival in Moscow at 11:45 am, local time. Friday:

UN 163: Departure from Moscow at 06:25 pm, local time and arrival in Krasnodar at 08:25 pm, local time.*

UN 164: Departure from Krasnodar at 09:25 pm, local time and arrival in Moscow at 11:30 pm, local time.

“The launch of these two flights is another important step in the realization of Transaero’s domestic network expansion strategy,” reports Transaero Airlines General Director Olga Pleshakova. “In 2009 our company has already successfully launched new flights to Blagoveshensk, Kazan, Magadan, Samara, Ufa and Irkutsk. There is high demand for these flights in the market. In the first five months of this year alone, Transaero Airlines passenger traffic on domestic flights has increased 34% in comparison with the same period last year.”
