OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 July 2009 was announced, that Ural airlines launched flight from Moscow to Baku. Flights will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays on a A320 aircraft according to the following schedule:

Departure from Moscow at 10:45, arrival in Baku at 14:30 (flight № У6-2981)*, departure from Baku at 15:30, arrival in Moscow at 17:20 (flight № У6-2982)*.

With A 320 aircraft now in the fleet, Ural airlines has significantly broadened its route network. The airline plans to strengthen its positions on the CIS market. The MoscowBakuMoscow flight is not the only route of the airline from Azerbaijan. Such destinations as Gandzha – St. Petersburg and Baku – Yekaterinburg are also open.

The new flight will also give passengers the opportunity to plan convenient connections in Moscow. Currently flights from Baku to Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Khanti-Mansiysk and Chita through Domodedovo are available.

Moscow International Airport Domodedovo has an undoubtable privilege before other Moscow airports, offering a wide range of destinations, a high level of service and comfortable transfer opportunities. The International and Domestic sectors of the airport are situated in one terminal, this allows passengers to change flights with a minimum connection time. Transit passengers are serviced in special transit lounges of the airport. Domodedovo airport is the first airport in Russia to implement an automated baggage sorting and reconciliation system that allows to reload transit flight luggage without the participation of passengers.

Ural airlines has made over 50 interline agreements with partner airlines, and passengers can now fly from Baku to almost any city in the world.
