OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2009 was announced, that PAVA, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East will take part in the contest “Best products and services in Siberia – GEMMA”. Earlier, PAVA products already received prestigious awards at this interregional competition.

This time, the company will present to the panel several new items from its assortment, alongside the traditional products.

For the first time, wheat flour Zhitnitsa will participate in the contest. It is an exclusive grade, developed by the Altay company, which over a short time gained significant interest from bakers at home and abroad. Oat flour also became an applicant for GEMMA awards. This production was launched by PAVA a few months ago. Russian confectionery enterprises have already given a high estimate to the quality of PAVA oat flour.

Apart from the two innovations, PAVA will present the well-known high-grade flour and semolina of own production.

The GEMMA contest gives an objective expert assessment to the quality of products manufactured in Siberia. It is conducted by the leading specialists of quality control state services and certification bodies. The interregional project spans 15 subjects of the Siberian federal district.
