OREANDA-NEWS. April 09, 2010. JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has brought its tariff application terms and air carriage contracts in accordance with the Air Codes of the Russian Federation.

Aeroflot complies with all the requirements set forth by the civil aviation regulations concerning voluntary return of air tickets, namely the Air Code of the Russian Federation and Federal Aviation Rules ‘General rules of air carriage of passengers, baggage and cargo, and requirements to servicing of passengers, cargo shippers and receivers’ approved by the Russian Ministry of Transport Resolution No. 82 as of 28.06.2007, and ‘Terms and conditions of tariff generation and application in regular passengers and baggage transport, and collection of charges in civil aviation’ approved by the Russian Ministry of Transport Resolution No. 155 as of 25.09.2008.

In accordance with the requirements, the application terms and conditions for all Aeroflot’s published tariffs (irrespective of their amount) for carriage originating on the Russian Federation territory state that passengers can refuse a flight and get a refund of the amount paid for the carriage (on condition that the carrier was informed prior to the flight departure). If a passenger refuses a flight paid at a special tariff less than 24 hrs prior to the flight departure, 25% of the refunded amount will be withheld.
    
In accordance with ‘Terms and conditions of tariff generation and application in regular passengers and baggage transport, and collection of charges in civil aviation’ approved by the Russian Ministry of Transport Resolution No. 155 as of 25.09.2008, a surcharge for air ticket return is levied in the amount of 15 EUR for international flights from Russia purchased at published special tariffs, and 500 RUB for flights inside Russia at published special tariffs.
