OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2010. Belarus has excluded sea fish from the list of products that may be imported exclusively by the state by presidential ordinance #194 dated April 21, 2010.

Imports of fresh-water fish and seafoods will remain on the list.

The document approves a provision on holding competitive tenders to award import contracts on behalf of the state.

Three fish enterprises will be transferred from republican ownership to the ownership of corresponding regions – Belryba, Mogilev fish complex and Gomel fish complex, OAO Grodnoryba and Mogilev Region-based Rybny ryad.

The document comes into effect on July 1.
