As of 03.05.2010, 48 interest yield GLTB issues (including 5 bond issues with the par value of BYR 1000000.00 and 43 bond issues for the par value of BYR 100000.00 per bond), 2 discount yield GLTB issues (par value is BYR 100 000.00 per bond) have been admitted to the BCSE circulation. 

In April 2010, there were 1045 government securities transactions totaling to BYR 2 146.61 billion or 21 201 686 bonds (there were 1 726 transactions totaling to BYR 3 870.15 billion, or 39 332 230 bonds in April 2009).

In April 2010, the “before redemption” transactions average weighted yield regarding DGLTB was 13.99 % per year, regarding IGLTB was 14.58% per year. An average REPO rate, regardless REPO period, regarding DGLTB was 9.74% per year, regarding IGLTB was 12.50% per year.

As of 03.05.2010, 28 banks and 14 non-banks securities market professional participants were admitted to the government securities secondary trades. MTBank became the operation volume leader, and Bank Moscow-Minsk – the leader by number of transactions in the secondary government securities market in April 2010.

The secondary short-term bonds of the National Bank market

As of 03.05.2010, 3 STB issues were admitted to the exchange distribution.

There was one transactions in STB concluded in the BCSE trade system amounting to BYR 3.99 billion, or 40 000 bonds. (In the similar period of the previous year, there were no transactions in secondary short-term bonds market).

The average weighted yield of “before redemption” transactions in STB was 12.92 % per year.

The primary corporate bond market (Local Loans Bonds (LLB) exclusive)

As of 03.05.2010, 23 bond issues of 11 issuers were admitted to the exchange distribution.

In April 2010, MTBank distributed its own bond issues (issues No.6) in a “simple auction” mode.

The following Issuers distributed their own bond issues in a “forward transaction” mode: Bank VTB (Belarus) (issue No.4, No.5); Belagroprombank (issues No.57 (ETB), 61 (ETB); Belarusian Industrial Bank (issue No.7); Paritetbank (issue No.5). These operations resulted in 5 transactions in bonds of 2 issuers amounting to BYR 61.1 billion or 74 519 bonds. The average weighted yield was 15.85 % per year. (In April 2009, there were 5 primary distributions of corporate bonds totaling to BYR 20.63 billion, or 20 000 bonds).

As of 03.05.2010, 25 banks and 35 non-bank securities market professional participants were admitted to the participation in the bonds distribution purchase.

The secondary corporate bond market (LLB exclusive)

As of 01.04.2010, 98 bond issues of 25 issuers were admitted to the exchange circulation, including 59 bond issues of 9 banks which were admitted to the First Level Quotation List A and 39 bond issues of 16 issuers were admitted to the out-of-list circulation.

In April 2010, there were 89 corporate bond transactions in the exchange trade system amounting to BYR 724.29 billion or 756 883 bonds, including 76 transactions settled in Belarusian rubles amounting to BYR 597.72 billion, 7 transactions settled in US dollars amounting to USD 12.67 billion or 1300 bonds, and 6 transactions settled in Euros amounting to EUR 22.29 billion or 13 435 bonds. There were 50 bonds transactions amounting to BYR 55.86 billion or 68 930 bonds in April 2009.

In April 2010, S-T+0 and S-T+n transactions weighted average yield reached 16.27 % per year. The weighted average rate of S-REPO bonds transactions was 19.33 % per year.

As of 03.05.2010, 25 banks and 35 non-bank professional participants were admitted to trading in the securities market. Belgazprombank became the leader by operation volume and MTBank was the leader in terms of total number of transactions in the secondary corporate bond market.

The secondary LLB market

As of 03.05.2010, 78 bond issues of 43 local executive and administrative authorities were admitted to the out-of-list circulation. In April 2010, there were 13 transactions in local government bonds totaling BYR 394.12 billions, or 329 528 bonds. The weighted average yield of the S-T+0 and S-T+n transactions was 16.03 % per year, the weighted average rate of S-REPO bonds transactions was 13.61 % per year. There was no LLB transaction in April 2009. The National Bank and Belarusbank were the leaders in the local bonds secondary market in terms of both total amount and number of transactions.

The secondary equity market

As 03.05.2010, 1804 issues of 1 738 issuers were admitted to the exchange circulation, including 2 issues of one issuer which were admitted to the First Level Quotation List A, 22 issues of 21 issuers were admitted to the Second Level Quotation List A, 50 issues of 50 issuers were admitted to the Quotation List B and 1 730 issues of  1 666 issuers were admitted to the out-of-list circulation.

In April 2010, there were 1 860 equity transactions in the exchange trade system amounting to BYR 8.04 billion, or 6 209 300 equities, including 1 853 transactions settled in Belarusian rubles amounting to BYR 6.42 billion, 2 transactions settled in US dollars amounting to USD 65.42 thousand or 23 530 equities, and 5 transactions settled in Russian rubles amounting to RUB 14.04 million or 59 601 equities. In April 2009, there were 479 equity transactions amounting to BYR 2.23 billion, or 4 410 272 equities.

As of 03.05.2010, 25 banks and 35 non-bank securities market professional participants were admitted to the equities secondary trades.

In April 2010, Belvnesheconombank became the leader in the secondary equity market in terms of the total amount and number of transactions.

As of 03.05.2010, the number of admitted to the exchange circulation issuers totaled 1 955 securities issues. 

In April 2010, there were 3 013 purchase and sale securities transactions amounting to BYR 3 338.15 billion, or 28 611 916 securities. In April 2009, there were 2260 purchase and sale securities transactions amounting to BYR 3 948.87 billion, or 43 831 432 securities.
