OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2010. The Belarusian government has set by its resolution #1082 procurement prices for major types of crops of this year’s harvest.

A uniform brewing barley procurement price has been set at 390,000 Belarusian rubles (Br) per tonne, whereas previously prices ranged from 645,000 rubles to 432,000 rubles depending on the type of barley and period of procurement. A 1% markup will be offered for barley with protein content of 11%-11.5% and 3% markup for barley with protein content below 11%.

Rye, wheat, barley and triticale prices remained at the 2009 level: 257,000 rubles per tonne of milling rye, 459,000 rubles per tonne of milling wheat, 284,000 tonnes per tonne of feed wheat, and 284,000 rubles per tonne of triticale.

Rape seed procurement prices have been raised 25% to 800,000 rubles per tonne.

Certified sugar beet procurement price was set at 90,000 rubles per tonne, up 25% on the year.
