OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2010. Belarus’ output of all mineral fertilizers rose 100% on the year in January-July to 3.771 million tonnes, a representative of Belarus’ Statistics Committee told.

The output of potash fertilizers increased 150% on the year to 3.197 million tonnes, of phosphate fertilizers went up 9% to 111,100 tonnes, and the production of nitrogen fertilizers went up 4.2% to 463,100 tonnes in the period.

Chemical fiber and filament production rose 25% to 131,500 tonnes.

Varnish and paint output fell 5.9 times to 115,600 tonnes.

Combined output of Belarus’ chemical and petrochemical industry went up 19.8% on the year in January-July to 9.003 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) in monetary terms.

Inventories of chemical and petrochemical companies were at 39.7% of the average monthly output, or 505.3 billion rubles.
