OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2010. The joint project by the Kommersant Publishing House and the Russian Managers Association (RMA) – TOP-1000 Russian Managers – is an annual rating identifying top executives of the Russian companies. TOP-1000 Russian Managers of 2010 lists several COMSTAR representatives in the Communication category.

President of COMSTAR-UTS has been named among three leaders of the TOP-1000 rating in the communication industry management for the second year in a row.

Top managers of COMSTAR-UTS in separate functional categories have also held leading positions in the rating:

Dmitry Karmanov, Vice President for HR and Corporate Development, holds the second line in the rating of HR Directors this year.

Nikolay Naumovich, Vice President for Corporate Management and Legal Matters, has been named among three leaders of the rating of Corporate Management Directors 2010.

Arseniy Brykin, Government Relations Director, holds the first line in the rating of Government Relations Directors 2010.

Roman Akatov, Commercial Director for Corporate Market Operations, ranks number one in the rating of Commercial Directors 2010.

Maxim Chernov, Marketing Director, has been included in the top five Russian Marketing Managers.

The TOP-1000 Russian Managers rating serves as a tool for evaluation of the professional reputation of leading Russian top managers. It summarizes annual performance results and determines the best Russian executives, leaders in their industries and areas of expertise.

The guiding principle in this rating is “the best pick the best”. Most of the expert panel members are top managers out of the rated ones who cannot vote for themselves. The professional reputation of a person is assessed, which can be determined only by expert poll.

Top managers at the head of the leading Russian enterprises in all sectors form the initial candidate pool. Total basic number of rating candidates is about 3.5 thousand people.

Additional evaluation of the nominees selected for expert ranking at the first stage is drawn from manager’s citation index in the Russian print media.
