OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2010. On November 18-19 Ingosstrakh held a traditional seminar for regional journalists on Insurance Market 2010: Lessons of Crisis. Seventeen journalists from 14 cities of the Russian Federation: Saint Petersburg, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Perm, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Samara and Penza took part in the event.

Besides, for the first time during the five-year history of seminars Ingosstrakh held the web cast in which more than 40 journalists from different cities of Russia took part. For the participants that for technical reasons did not manage to join the web cast themselves workplaces were organized directly in the company’s offices in Perm, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo and Krasnoyarsk. Journalists could not just watch the seminar live on-screen but also ask questions to the speakers and promptly receive answers together with the journalists who attended the event.

In the course of the seminar representatives of the leading business and socio-political media discussed the current problems and preliminary results of the year in the insurance sphere with the leading participants of the insurance market and representatives of the state-owned amalgamations and industrial groups. The President of All-Russia insurers’ union A.S. Kigim, President of All-Russia motor insurers union, P.B. Bunin, President of the national union of liability insurers A.V. Yuriev, Director General of Ingosstrakh A.V. Grigoriev, Deputy Director of the “Federal agency for State Support of Insurance in the Sphere of Agroindustrial Production” Federal State Institution, M.I. Krikheli, director of the insurance companies rating branch of the Expert RA rating agency, financial institutions rating department, A. Yanin, press-secretary of the Russian Tourist Industry Union, I.V. Tyurina, Deputies of the company’s  Director General, N.V. Galushin, A.A. Sokolov, I.S. Yamov, heads of Ingosstrakh departments and directorates and leading financial observers of the federal media took the floor as reporters at the seminar.

Also, the regular round-table meeting took place within the seminar, where federal and regional journalists discussed the problems of the insurance theme coverage in mass media and shared their professional experience.
