OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2010. Money Magazine in its issue No 49 [806] published the rating of Russia’s most valuable brands in various business areas. Ingosstrakh OJSIC is at number 17 in this rating, thus it remains Russia’s most valued insurance brand. The authors of the research believe that the company’s brand is worth RUB 4.753 billion or USD 173 million. Between 2008 and 2010 the company rose from the 21st to the 17th place in the rating. The rating wasn’t published in Russia in 2009.

It should be reminded that Ingosstrakh is the only insurance company in Russia that has been among the 40 most valued Russian brands since 2005, i.e. since the first time Interbrand conducted this research in Russia.

Every year the international consulting company Interbrand, founded back in 1974, publishes lists of the 100 most valued brands and trademarks in the world. The company uses a patented research methodology to compile its lists. Interbrand’s regional branches compile similar lists for their countries. The article published in Money Magazine provides a detailed description of how Interbrand assesses the value of brands.
