OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2011. Airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) held negotiations with ACG Air Cargo Germany.

The German carrier ACG Air Cargo Germany plans to start their flight program on routes China (Hong Kong and Shanghai) - Germany (Frankfurt-Hahn) with technical landings at the International Airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) on aircrafts Boeing 747-400SF. This is a first step to a long-term cooperation oriented towards other services to Novosibirsk.

During the meeting parties discussed terms and conditions of the Ground handling agreement.

Representatives of the Airline have examined the airport infrastructure, assessed technical capabilities, including but not limited the rescue and fire equipment, airside equipment and winter operation Technical inspection and negotiations were combined with the visit of the modern art gallery in Terminal A open to all visitors.

The Airport has presented its second runway (Cat2) opened in September 2010 and a USD 700 million Master plan that included a new class "C" passenger terminal for 5.5 million passengers, catering factory, Hotel Class 4 *, exhibition and congress center, shopping center, parking facilities.

- We saw well-organized processes, and a modern aiport - said Petra BECKER Chief Process Officer of ACG Air Cargo Germany. The Airport proposed optimal conditions, and we plan up to 12 scheduled flights per week starting February this year.

Director General Alexander BORODIN was affirmative regarding cooperation between ACG Air Cargo Germany and Airport Tolmachevo:

- Today, development of air cargo traffic is one of the highest priorities for Novosibirsk Airport (Tolmachevo). And after long holiday break we opened the first working day of the year with intense negotiations with our German partner. New runway 2, certified by ICAO II category, that we commissioned in autumn 2010, has no restrictions on take-off weight, and that makes us virtually all-weather airport. All of that provides ideal conditions to expand of our business activities.
