OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2011. DTEK, Ukraine’s leading fuel and energy company, announces it resumes electricity export to Belarus.
 
Andrey Favorov, Director of Power Trade, trading arm of DTEK, said that estimated power of supply will be around 300-400 MW. The supply resumed on 05 of February 2011.
DTEK plans to supply to Belarus guaranteed volume of 1,5 bln KWh of Ukrainian electricity until the end of the year.
 
Additionally around 1,5 bln KWh might be exported as non-guaranteed supply based on the bilateral negotiations.
 
In February 2011 the volume of supply from DTEK to Belarus is planned on the level of 187m KWh. 230m KWh may be exported towards Eastern Europe in February.
 
In January DTEK exported 237m KWh, power of supply was 300-450 MW. Electricity was supplied to Hungary, Romania, Slovakia.
