OREANDA-NEWS. March 10, 2011. Belarus’ internal debt increased 0.4% on the month in January 2011 to 9.307 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of February 1, 2011, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry stated.

Belarus’ internal debt fell 1% in January 2011 in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 38.964 billion rubles in January 2011, or 0.3% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 22.2%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 77.8%.
