Protecting income against unreasonable price increase for food and fuel, from extortion by various certificates and administrative services, increase in the cost of transportation, tariffs, etc. - is a constant priority of the Government. This was stressed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov today during a session the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, adding that "the important task of the Government - to compensate all charges of people".

"Inflationary pressure, especially the market of food and fuel remains a significant" - said Prime Minister of Ukraine. - Statistically this may be a part of the rate of the inflation, but for the individual purse the increasing daily spending is heavy burden".

Mykola Azarov has given a series of orders designed to ensure price stability. In particular, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and local governments were instructed to continue holding agricultural fairs in big cities, and Ministry of Economic Development - to monitor prices and promptly respond to an abnormal decline in food prices.

The Ministry of Energy and coal industry was commissioned to provide increased supplies of raw materials for domestic refineries. Petrol and diesel fuel own production that produced in an acceptable price corridor as agreed by the Government and market participants have to compete with imported fuel.

The Antimonopoly Committee is investigating three networks of gas stations with signs of cartel conspiracy Mykola Azarov said.

"I demand that sanctions against those who try to cash in on the citizen ware inevitable", - the Head of the Government claimed.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine has charged the Ministry of Infrastructure and State Property Fund at the time of sale agreement Ukrtelecom guarantee there were no increasing of tariffs for communication services for the population over time and "any further tariff changes taking place under government control by objective economic justification".
