OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. Tata Power, India’s largest integrated private power player, in continuance of its efforts towards the wellbeing of the local communities around which the company undertakes its business, has successfully completed a free allopathy medical camp for villagers near the Swati Complex Phase-II in Haldia. The health camp organised on March 7, 2011, and March 16, 2011, to provide health care services witnessed over 90 villagers benefiting from free consultation, treatment and medicines provided by experienced medical professionals.

Speaking on the medical camp, Vijayant Ranjan, head, Haldia power plant, said, “The volunteers from our company, specifically Tata Power Ladies Club, ‘Vaibhavi’, enthusiastically and relentlessly worked towards organising the medical camp. This medical camp is one of the key initiatives of Tata Power’s community development endeavours in Haldia. We will continue to work towards contributing to the wellbeing of the villagers.”

The medical health camp was organised by the volunteers from the company, specially Tata Power Ladies Club, ‘Vaibhavi’.
