OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. Belarus’ output of all mineral fertilizers rose 8.5% on the year in January-February 2011 to 1.094 million tonnes, a representative of Belarus’ Statistics stated.

The output of potash fertilizers increased 9.9% on the year to 925,200 tonnes, of phosphate fertilizers went down 0.4% to 34,100 tonnes, and the production of nitrogen fertilizers went up 1.4% to 135,100 tonnes in the period.

Chemical fiber and filament production rose 9.2% to 39,500 tonnes.

Motorcar tire output fell 3.3% to 596,400 units.

Combined output of Belarus’ chemical and petrochemical industry went up 5.2% on the year in January-February 2011 to 2.037 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) in monetary terms.

Inventories of chemical and petrochemical companies were at 15.1% of the average monthly output, or 139.5 billion rubles.
