OREANDA-NEWS. June 09, 2011.  Russia plans supplying to foreign customers “a large number of units” for NPPs both independently and in collaboration with foreign partners. This was announced by Igor Shuvalov, the First Deputy Prime-Minister of the Russian Government and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rosatom State Corporation, who attended the specialized exhibition in the framework of the ATOMEXPO-2011 international forum on 6 June in Moscow.

“We believe that nuclear power has a great future,” Shuvalov said. He reminded that Russia planned large-scale construction of new NPP units and the country’s government invested “a great deal” in nuclear technologies.
