OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2011. Izhora plants, part of OMZ Group, completed the construction of the DS-302 hydrotreater for TAIF-NK oil refinery (Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhnekamsk).

Weight of the reactor constitutes 212 tons, diameter – 4,800 m, length - 15 meters. High quality of the treater was guaranteed by the use of innovative chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel, which was first used in the production of unique hydrocracking reactors for TANEKO. The hydrotreater was delivered in the timeframe of the contract, which was concluded in November 2010. The world's biggest concern Shell Global Solutions became the licensor of the project.

The reactor will be shipped by water from a cargo pier in the village of Ust-Slavyanka. For the first time in its practice Izhorskie Zavody is not only a designer and manufacturer of petrochemical equipment for the reactor, but also carries out the delivery and installation of the reactor on the customer's site in the project (working) position.

To date, the Izhorskie Zavody produces another 12 various type products for Russian oil companies. Among them are two unique super-capacitor units weighing over 1,300 tons for RN-Tuapse Refinery, designed for deep oil refining and production of high-quality Euro-5 standard fuel.
